Family

The family unit is threatened by the value systems of corporate America as well as opposing liberal ideologies. The idea that you may need to sacrifice your marriage and kids at the altar of success is a trap and a lie born out of the love of money and greed.


Speiro companies are different. We believe a healthy family and marriage are more valuable than money or success. We look for ways to protect the the family unit. We believe it's possible to have a flourishing home life while killing it in business.

Generosity

Consistent generosity should be a core trait of a business committed to advancing the Kingdom. We believe that businesses and people who are trustworthy in using the seed God has provided will be trusted with more in the future to continue the work.


Speiro companies find ways to be generous at all times. In good or bad business climates, we always have something to give. Whether through cash flow, various business assets or lent expertise, we look for ways to be generous with those around us.

Integrity

Without integrity, nothing we say or do matters to those we interact with. At Speiro, we believe that integrity is the foundational characteristic that simply must be present, without compromise, at all times in a healthy company.

Serving

A servant-leader attitude sets the tone for the culture and ethos of a company. It's one of the most tangible ways the world can experience the goodness that we ourselves have been given. Serving others simply makes a work environment less toxic and more fun.


Serving others isn’t the norm in corporate America. The prevalent message is to take as much as you can and think of yourself first. At Speiro, we believe, while counterintuitive, putting others first is the best way to build a successful career and company.

Philosophy of Growth

While Venture Capital and Private Equity value growth at all costs, Speiro values a business model that can generate free cash and resources for the Kingdom.

Growth companies are exciting. But the odds of a large, lucrative exit are small. Businesses that lose money for 3-5 years hoping to get a big payout only provide sporadic resources and create a “slave to the lender” vibe in the company.


Speiro subscribes a “Profits First” business model. Profitable companies can give consistent and reliable cash flow which is helpful to the efforts we support. There is a sense of freedom and integrity in running a profitable, healthy company.

The dollars matter, but the point is whose dollars. This number gets reached only when generosity has spread far beyond us — when hundreds of owners are each giving in ways they never thought possible.
